I've added a new link (see links on the right) to a page where you can check the pronunciation of difficult names in English. Names are one of the most complicated things to pronounce and spell, since there are no rules.
No more /sin/ Conneries, please ;-) Hope this page helps!

:-( it's not there, Carmen... But... something you can do when you find words like this, is split them up in two parts and there you go! the dictionary gives you the pronunciation of 'shrew' and 'bury'. Careful! It does not always work: check 'Yorkshire', for example.
