1. For what action were some protesters arrested in New York?
- They went to the bank to withdraw their money and close their accounts
2. What is the relationship between governments and corporations, according to the female protester interviewed in NY?
- Those governements’ political campaigns get funded by the corportations, so the politicians will do whatever is best for those corporations, they’ll act in their interest.
3. In London, the police tried to disperse crowds. Why?
- They claimed the place where those crowds stood, the cathedral, was private property.
4. What is making protesters in London take action, what is galvanising them (stimulating them into action)?
- The fact that their money as tax payers is going into bailing banks out
5. What was the UE government’s reaction to the protesters' intentions in Brussels?
- They wanted to ban their demonstration, but in the end gave in to the march.
6. Who are the protesters in Brussels?
- Not only Belgians, but people from all over Europe, who’ve been marching for months, for example, from Spain.
7. The Madrid correspondent mentions several of the reasons for the protests in Madrid. Which are they?
- People are protesting against austerity measures, against the eviction of people from their homes, against the lack of jobs
8. What is the profile of the protesters, according to the correspondent in Madrid?
- Young people with a university education, and without jobs. Hopeful people who believe their voices are being heard and trust there will be changes in the future.

Thank you very much for your work. Unfortunatly I can hardly understand some phrases. I find it very difficult for me so I've just two right answers, but I'll try more times.
